How does Centrofi.com protect me?

Centrofi.com holds funds while goods move and services are completed.

Centrofi.com ensures Sellers are paid when they deliver goods or complete agreed upon services, ensuring Buyers receive a refund if goods are not delivered or services rendered. Centrofi.com also vets Buyers and Sellers to ensure fraudulent users are removed.

How Buyers are protected:
The Seller isn't paid until the Buyer inspects and accepts the merchandise or services or the agreed-upon Inspection Period expires. Full or partial refunds can be issued if there is a problem with the goods or services.
Centrofi.com verifies delivery of trackable merchandise to the Buyer via online trackable shipping data the Seller provides to Centrofi.com.

How Sellers are protected:
Sellers receive their funds once they deliver the goods or services, the Buyer accepts the goods or services, or the agreed-upon Inspection Period expires. The Seller is notified to ship the merchandise and services once Centrofi.com confirms funds have been approved and secured from the Buyer and all anti-fraud regulations have been met.If merchandise has been returned, we verify delivery of trackable merchandise to the Seller via a tracking code or as provided by the Buyer.The Seller is protected from unexpected chargebacks.

How do Buyers or Sellers cancel transactions?

Prior to the agreement of terms by both parties, the Buyer or Seller can cancel the transaction by clicking the “Cancel” button on the transaction detail screen.
After both parties have confirmed transaction details in the Agreement phase, either party may cancel the transaction, if Centrofi.com has not received the Buyer's funds, by sending an email request to support@Centrofi.com.
After funds are secured, the cancellation of a transaction can only be done by Centrofi.com after notification of both parties.

What's Centrofi Escrow Fee?

Centrofi.com covers transactions ranging from $10-10,000 for 2% fee. Transactions fee for $10,000 - $100,000 is $100 + 0.15%Transaction fee for $100,000 to $500,000 $100 + 0.70
Transactions with a Buyer outside the United States will be charged an additional $25.00 to cover any intermediary bank fees. This will be added to the escrow fee, regardless of who is paying the fee, when the Buyer selects to pay international payment method.

How do Sellers get paid?

Centrofi.com may release funds to the Seller after the Inspection Period has ended. The Inspection Period is agreed upon by both parties and commences once the Buyer confirms receipt or Centrofi.com confirms delivery of merchandise or registrant information to the Buyer's address on file. In the event the transaction closes without involvement from the Buyer, a 24 hour notice may be sent to the Buyer.
Funds are released to the Seller the same or next business day after successful completion of a transaction and upon verification by Centrofi.com.
Funds are disbursed via Wire/Bank Transfer. Wire/Bank transfer fee varies by the currency and location of the Seller's bank account. Electronic check (ACH) payments (no charge) are also available for U.S customers only. ACH payments (no charge) available for USA and CANADA customers.

What happens if the Buyer is unsatisfied with their merchandise?

If the Buyer is dissatisfied with a transaction, they have the option to “Accept” or “Reject” their merchandise during the Inspection Period.

Rejection Process

If the Buyer wants to return their merchandise, they will need to click the "Reject" button on the transaction screen during the Inspection Period.

Once rejected, the Buyer needs to contact the Seller directly and determine if the Seller will allow the Buyer to return merchandise.

If the Seller agrees, Centrofi.com must be notified of the agreement by email at support@centrofi.com.

Once notified, Centrofi.com will then send amendment emails to both parties and provide further instructions.

If the transaction has multiple items and the Buyer would like a partial return, the Buyer will need to discuss with the Seller the conditions of the returned merchandise and inform Centrofi.com. After we have been notified of the agreement, we will provide further instructions to make the following changes:

How do I check the status of my transactions?

To check the status of your transaction, you simply sign into your Centrofi.com account. After signing in, you can access your transaction summary page to view the progress of your active Centrofi.com transactions.

Can I use your service for a real estate transaction?

No, centrofi.com is not licensed to process real estate property transactions. This includes transactions involving deeds or timeshare ownership sales.

When are funds released to the Seller?

Centrofi.com releases funds to the Seller when the Buyer accepts products and/or services or after the Inspection Period has expired. A Buyer can accept products and/or services by clicking on the “Accept” button in their Centrofi.com account. What if the Buyer forgets to accept or decline the items online at Centrofi.com?

The Buyer has the option to “Accept” or “Reject” the merchandise during their Inspection Period. However, if the Buyer has neglected to “Accept” or “Reject” the merchandise, Centrofi.com will release funds to the Seller at the end of the Inspection Period, as long as Centrofi.com can verify that the Buyer has received their merchandise.
Please note that Centrofi.com does reserve the right to send a 24 hour notice if the Inspection Period is started and ended without the Buyer's participation.

If I have any questions about the product, do I contact Centrofi.com?

We highly recommend all Buyers reach out directly to their Sellers to find out more about the products and/or services being exchanged in their transactions. It is critical for both parties to agree upon the precise description of that being sold or rendered. If there are any questions about any element of the transaction, this should be clarified at the commencement of any transaction.

The product should be clearly defined in the “Description” section of the transaction, and both the Buyer and Seller must agree on all aspects of the transaction, including the “Description” section at the inception of a transaction. For complicated transactions, we recommend the Buyers and Sellers create and sign an agreement to fully clarify the product and/or services being transferred and/or completed.

Additionally, once the Buyer receives the products and/or services, the Inspection Period becomes critical to ensure the products and/or services are exactly those listed in the “Description” or agreement. If the product and/or service is not what was agreed upon at the inception of the transaction, the Buyer has the opportunity to return or reject the products and/or services before the Inspection Period expires.
